ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY

Wondering what it's like to be a zookeeper?

Many people think that animal keepers go around having fun with the animals all day long. This is not the case. The animal care profession is not as glamorous as many people think. We prepare lots of food and spend most of our time feeding animals and cleaning their enclosures.

Do you want to know how it's like to be a zookeeper? You can experience this with us all year round.

​

You get to:

-prepare food for some animals

-help clean enclosures

-feed animals such as the marmosets, lemurs, and camels

-join in to greet the foxes, maybe even feed them if they are hungry

-take a closer look at the lizards and snakes in the reptile house

-greet the donkeys Elvis and Fernanda and greet the ponies  Festus and Dokka

2 hours:

NOK 950 per person

The experience must be booked in advance. 

​

We can do the experience in the following languages: Norwegian, English, Dutch, and Filipino. Please let us know your preference.

The lower age limit is 7 years and there is no upper age limit.
