1. There are three different species of peacock. We have Indian peacocks. In addition, there are emerald peacocks and Congo peacocks. Indian peacock and emerald peacock come from Asia, while Congo peacock comes from Africa. 

2. The tail of the male peacock falls off every year.The tail should impress females during the mating season. When the mating season is over, the tail falls off, and a new and larger tail grows before the next season. 

3. Peacocks can fly. They don't fly very far at a time, but both males and females can fly.
